Capacity Building Tribal Empowerment Library Akshara Eye Camps Seminars & Workshops NGO coordination Your Association

SISS firmly believes that coordination and synergetic relationship with other NGOs working in the field will contribute significantly to the realisation of goals it set for itself. Hence it forgoes no opportunity to work in tandem with other organisations to achieve maximum results.

SISS organised various capacity building programmes and conducted seminars in association with other NGOs and groups working in respective fields. Its relations with other NGOs would always be on the basis of mutual respect and equality, not on a mentor-protégé basis.  The institute trained staff of 265 NGOs across Andhra Pradesh on the concept of rural development and their role in it, managing an NGO, office management, human resource development, funding sources, interacting with government offices and social leadership.

SISS formed a networks with other NGOs engaged in similar activities with the intention of guiding them with various inputs on problem inventory, proposal making, report writing along with periodical workshops for experience sharing. This networking will also make it possible to channelise all the information required for integrated development of the villages and make it available to the NGOs and other grass root functionaries.

The institute identified new NGOs in different districts with whom it joined hands to to take up welfare activities jointly. The NGOs are Sunitha Seva Samstha, Gudur,  Sodhana of Cheepurupalli, Vizianagarm district, SEREDE of Adilabad, Medwin Hospitals, Hyderabad, Krushi Vikas and Old Students Association (OSA) of Osmania University, Satya Sai Seva Samithi, Nalgonda, and State Bank of Hyderabad, Pulicherla. Medical camps and training programmes were organised in collaboration with other NGOs and establishments. Sodhana and SEREDE  were being provided financial help for their effective work in the fields of health and education. Sodhana  is executing a project for meritorious students in the Garividi and Cheepurupalli mandals in Vizianagaram districts under which meritorious students would be provided with annual scholarships. A vidya volunteer is appointed to look after the project
